Welded Joints of Polypropylene Pipe Fittings

Polypropylene pipes and fittings are joined together by thermal technologies. Thermal welding creates an almost monolithic connection, creating an inseparable integrity of the entire structure.

The entire process of welding or soldering takes few seconds. Metal pipes are connected without any welding, using a press-fitting or with compression fittings. In the first case you need a special tool to press fittings, compression fittings for a simple wrench and brute strength of a man, but the connection in both cases is far from monolithic .

It is impossible not to note some advantages of plastic, such as resistance to higher temperatures the liquid permeable to +110 ° C, making them simply irreplaceable in some cases, while polypropylene, designed for short-term temperatures up to +95 ° S. Based on the above, it is safe to say, if the technical conditions of operation do not involve high thermal loads, polypropylene pipes whose price is much lower than would be preferred. Plastic Valves are also manufactured using the same strategy.

  3. Nowadays the industrial valves used widely in all kinds of fields are metal valves. although the metal valve has a history with husbands of years and its structure and material is improved all the time, this valve now can not satisfy the requirement of high abrasion-proofness and high corrosion-proofness owing to the restriction of the metal material's own property. The present industrial valves are short in usage life and also have a great negative effect on the stability of the system operation.
